The Fine and Performing Arts Department of Baruch College has had the use of new first-class pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2019 school year. This arrangement is provided by the Rockley Family Foundation, recognized by the I.R.S. as a 501(3)(c) organization. These instruments, as well as ones otherwise made available, will be sold by the Rockley Family Foundation at a substantial discount from new retail pricing to continue this valuable program.
A large selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos and digital pianos will be available. This event will feature starter to professional level instruments from such famous makers as Kawai, Knabe, a discrete selection of used Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, and many others. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on-site. A portion of your purchase may be considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be tax deductible. *
There are two ways to view and purchase:
- BY APPOINTMENT: You are invited to attend a special “private-sale” on Thursday, February 6, Friday, February 7 and the morning of Saturday, February 8 along with our faculty and staff, prior to the general public. This appointment will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reductions. To secure a time call: (646) 522-5947.
- You may attend the final sale day on Saturday, February 8, from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. without an appointment.
This event will be held on the Baruch College campus in the Performing Arts Center, 55 Lexington Avenue, (25th Street between Lexington & Third Avenues), New York, NY 10010. For directions please call or visit: www.RockleyFamilyFoundation.org/Baruch
In a time where creative solutions are needed to maintain a properly equipped music program, the continuation of the piano loan program is important to our efforts to further education in the arts. We invite you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
