Raritan Valley Community College 2021 Pianos, Digital Pianos, and Violin Sale

The Music Program of Raritan Valley Community College has had the use of new first-class pianos on a no cost basis for the 2020-2021 year. This ongoing arrangement is provided through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation, recognized by the I.R.S. as a 501(c)(3) organization.* These instruments, as well as ones made otherwise available will be sold to perpetuate this valuable program and provide support for the Music Program.

A selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas and cellos will be available. This event will feature student to professional level instruments from such famous makers as Seiler, Yamaha, Pramberger, Roland, Stravari Fine Violins with a discrete selection of used Steinway & Sons pianos, and many others. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to go. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site.

BY PRIVATE APPOINTMENT: You are invited to attend a special private-sale on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 19-21, along with our faculty and staff. This will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reductions. To secure an appointment time call: (908) 528-6187.

This event will be held on campus in the Arts Building, 118 Lamington Road, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Parking is available in Lot 5. Cleaning and social distancing protocols will be implemented to provide a safe environment for this sale. * If a portion of the purchase price is considered a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation, used to support the Raritan Valley Community College music program, the deductible

*If a portion would be limited to the excess of the amount paid over the fair market value at retail of the goods purchased. You should consult with your own tax advisor as to individual deductibility.

Social Distancing Protocol

We strongly believe in the healing power of music, however we are very cognizant of the current need for social distancing and sanitizing procedures.  As the health and wellness of both our staff and clients are very important to us, we will be taking the following precautions to stay compliant with State, County and University policy:

  • All Rockley Family Foundation staff members will wear facial masks while at an event.
  • All Rockley Family Foundation staff members will be temperature tested at each event to ensure health.
  • This event will be by appointment only.   Groups will be limited in compliance with capacity guidelines.
  • Facial masks will be required for all guests on campus.  If you do not have one, we will provide one.
  • If you are showing any Covid-19 symptoms or have had close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have Covid-19, please participate with a “virtual” appointment only.
  • Social distancing policies will be enforced in all waiting, office, and instrument viewing areas.
  • Surfaces will be disinfected multiple times per day.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By visiting you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
