Tobin Rockley
Director/President

Tobin Rockley

Tobin received Clarinet and Saxophone Performance degrees from the University of Northern Colorado.  His years as a professional performing musician includes touring internationally and leading the band ‘Flipside’ for three decades, retiring in 2019.  He has taught private music lessons on clarinet, saxophone and piano.  Tobin is a third generation owner at Rockley Music Center, founding the Technology and Piano Departments. He still serves as President of Rockley Music Center, though he is no longer involved with the daily operations. Today, Tobin dedicates his professional time to the Rockley Family Foundation. When he’s not working, Tobin enjoys spending time with his family, music, travel and scuba diving.

Liane Rockley
Bookkeeper/Corp. Secretary

Liane Rockley

Liane Rockley has a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music. She is a former NAMM Board of Directors member (2008-2011) and was Chair of the Public Affairs and Government Relations Committee. Liane served as treasurer for the Colorado State Music Teachers Association from 2019-2024.  She was awarded the distinction of Music Teachers National Association Foundation Fellow in 2025. Liane is the Secretary/Treasurer for Rockley Family Foundation and runs the business office. Active in the Colorado music community, Liane plays 2nd Flute/Piccolo in the Lakewood Symphony Orchestra and serves as the President of its Board of Directors. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, fitness, and gardening.

Damien Rockley
Event Office Manager/Operations VP

Damien Rockley

Damien Rockley is the Vice President of Operations for the Rockley Family Foundation with 5 years of experience in event logistics, and over 15 years in customer service roles. He is an avid pianist, enjoying jazz and soundtracks, and has had the joy of playing with several jazz quartets over the years. He graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation and is an Instrument Rated pilot. In his free time, Damien continues pursuing his twin passions of aviation and music, and enjoys hiking through the beautiful Colorado mountains, riding his motorcycle, or playing video games with his two younger brothers.

Aslan Rockley
Piano/String Selection/Services VP

Aslan Rockley

Aslan has spent most of his life in music.  He started in Suzuki Violin at age 3, adding piano, guitar and other instruments along the way.  His diverse musical background includes participation Denver Youth Arts Orchestra, Front Range Youth Symphony, The Colorado Children’s Chorale International Tour Choir, the Lakewood Symphony Orchestra and Flipside.  

Aslan has repair backgrounds in both piano and orchestral strings both in technical and finish repair.  He attended the Butler School of Piano Technical Studies, the Mohawk Finish Repair School and has spent most of his adult life in the workshop. 

Aslan loves spending time with his family (especially his new son), music and martial arts. 

Angela Rowland
Managerial Accountant

Angela Rowland

Angela Rowland joins the Rockley Family Foundation in the Spring of 2024 in the capacity of accountant and musician. She earned a Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting Management at Northeastern University and graduated magna cum laude in 2020. She has worked with various non-profit organizations and corporations within the Greater Boston Area. In her free time, she occasionally volunteers at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts as a senior associate floral designer.
 
Angela Rowland earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Flute Performance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music, a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from the University of Kansas, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music.  She performed with the Macau Orchestra in China and Hong Kong under internationally renowned conductors: Chen Xieyang, Michel D’Alberto, Jacques Delacôte, Li-Wei, Lü Jia, Lü Shao Chia, Fu Renchang, Stephen Mould, Tomas Netopil, Philip Pickett, Lior Shambadal, Tamás Vásáry, Yip Wing Sie, and Zhang Guoyong. Formerly principal flutist of both the Topeka Symphony Orchestra and the Lawrence Chamber Orchestra, Dr. Rowland performed with a number of US chamber groups, including the Missouri Chamber Orchestra, Flint Hills Trio, Mid-America Woodwind Quintet, and Camerata Lawrence.  Flutist and founder of Camerata Lawrence, she toured extensively with this chamber music group in Germany, Austria and Hungary.

Rebecca Moritzky
String Selection/Event Office Manager

Rebecca Moritzky

Rebecca Moritzky is a professional harpist with degrees from the University of Denver and Colorado Christian University. She is the principal harpist of the Denver Philharmonic and Lakewood Symphony Orchestras and has played with others, including the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. She has played for hundreds of weddings and events through her freelancing business, Heart Strings Harps, and teaches private lessons. In 2020, Rebecca became a recurring guest on the YouTube show Tell Ya Later. She hosted an arts showcase for 3 years at the Rockley Recital Hall and is happy to now be part of the Rockley Family Foundation!

Josh Lundquist
Event Office Manager

Josh Lundquist

Josh Lundquist has his Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance from Metropolitan State University and a Masters in Trumpet Performance from the University of Wyoming. Josh enjoys playing classical and jazz. He has a small recording studio, and performs in the Denver area. He also teaches private music lessons in the Lakewood area. At the Rockley Family Foundation Josh serves as office administrator and event staff since 2023.

Kristen Gentry
Event Office Manager/Office Administration

Kristen Gentry

Kristen is a dedicated management professional with over 15 years of experience in administration, operations, and customer service. She thrives on keeping things organized, running smoothly, and making sure every detail is handled—especially when it comes to planning and managing events. Kristen’s love for music and people brought her to the Rockley Family Foundation, where she proudly serves as the Event Office Manager and Office Administrator. When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her hiking Colorado’s scenic trails, painting, getting lost in a good book, or spending time with her family.

Lori Lewis
Institutional Relations/Board Members

Lori Lewis

While an Assistant VP at Sear’s/Dean Witter Reynolds Lori completed the Junior Executive MBA program and finished her degree after attending University of Tennessee, University of Notre Dame, Stanford University, Harvard University, University of Florida and completing the MBA program at Northwestern University. 

In 2005, Lori started her journey with piano working for Southern Keyboards, Atlanta, GA, in sales and handling their institutional relationships. She was hired by Kawai America Corporation in 2008 as Institutional Director from 2008 – 2018, Institutional Sales for Piano Distributors, (Yamaha dealer) from  2018 – 2020, and with Samick Music Corporation as Institutional Director from  2020 – 2024.  

Lori reside in Marietta, GA. Enjoy spending time with my family, managing my husband’s veterinary practice, taking care of our rescue dogs and cats, crochet, travel and reading.

Phyllis Pieffer
Board Member

Phyllis Pieffer

Phyllis Pieffer has been an Independent Piano Teacher for 60 years, a faculty member of Colorado Christian University 1983-1997, and faculty member of Grays Harbor College (Aberdeen, Washington) 1998-2010, and a Church Pianist for the Aberdeen Presbyterian Church (2000-2010).  She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio, 1966, and a Master of Arts in Music Theory from the Eastman School of Music, 1970.  Pieffer has performed regularly as a soloist and chamber musician. 
 
Throughout her career, she has served as an active member of the Music Teachers National Association and its state affiliates in Colorado, Oregon, and Washington as well as local associations. Understanding the importance of leadership skills, Pieffer took parliamentary classes and passed the national parliamentarian test given by the National Association of Parliamentarians in order to join that association.  She served as Colorado State Music Teachers Association President and Music Teachers National Association President, as well as on various boards and committees.  She also is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution  and the PEO Organization for women.

Myka Raymond
Board Member

Myka Raymond

Myka Raymond holds a Bachelor’s degree in biology, a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction specializing in secondary science, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. Her dissertation is titled “The Effect of Exploratory Classes and other Factors on Middle School Student Achievement,” where she studied how elective classes, including music, impacts and improves student achievement. She currently teaches middle school Food Science. She also serves as the pianist at St. James Presbyterian Church. When not shaping the minds of children and assisting in worship, she enjoys scuba diving as an instructor, teaching and helping others to enjoy diving and conserving the underwater environment.
