Nonprofit partners with Pima’s Music Department to offer Steinway, Yamaha, Pramberger and other instruments at significant discounts — proceeds provide resources and scholarship support for music students
TUCSON, Ariz. — August 18, 2026 — The Rockley Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting music education, will hold the Pima Community College Musical Instrument Sale Thursday through Saturday, September 10–12, 2026, at the Center for the Arts on Pima’s West Campus, 2202 W. Anklam Road. Presented in partnership with the Music Department of Pima Community College, the sale offers pianos and string instruments at a significant discount from manufacturers’ retail pricing, providing valuable resources and scholarship support for music students.
A large selection of grand pianos, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, hybrid pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas and cellos will be available, from starter to professional level and from makers including Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, Seiler, Pramberger, Roland and Italia Violins. Most instruments are less than one year old, include a 5- to 10-year service contract, and are tuned and ready to enjoy. Delivery and special no-interest financing are available on site, and in most cases a substantial portion of the purchase is considered a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be tax-deductible.

The sale is by appointment Thursday, September 10 through Saturday, September 12; appointments give buyers priority in selection and pricing, and virtual appointments via Zoom are available. The public is also welcome on the final sale day, Saturday, September 12, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. — no appointment needed. Since 2009, more than $30 million in donations have been made through the Rockley Family Foundation to nonprofit and educational organizations. The foundation conducts dozens of fundraising instrument sales each year with music departments and nonprofits nationwide; each event is designed to benefit the host organization and, ultimately, music education programs in the local community.
