Charleston Southern University 2020 Pianos, Digital Pianos and Violins Sale

The Horton School of Music at Charleston Southern University is excited to continue our partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting music education through this partnership, Horton School of Music students and faculty have had the use of new first-class pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2020 school year. These instruments and ones made otherwise available will be sold at a significant discount from retail pricing to continue this valuable program and provide additional resources to the Horton School of Music.

A large selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos violins, violas and cellos will be available. is event will feature starter to professional instruments from such famous makers as Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, Disklavier, Seiler, Clavinova, Stravari Fine Violins and many others. Most instruments are less than one year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to go. Delivery and technical services are provided by Fox Music. Special no-interest financing is available. Moreover, in most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase is considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.*

Social Distancing Protocol:

We strongly believe in the healing power of music, but we are very cognizant of the current need for social distancing and sanitizing procedures. As the health and wellness of both our staff and clients are very important to us, we will be taking the following precautions to stay compliant with state, county, and university policy:

  • All Rockley Family Foundation staff members will wear facial masks while at an event.
  • All Rockley Family Foundation staff members will be temperature tested at each event to ensure health status.
  • This event will be by appointment only. Groups will be limited in compliance with capacity guidelines.
  • Facial masks will be required for all guests on campus. If you do not have one, we will provide one.
  • If you are showing any Covid-19 symptoms or have had close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have Covid-19, please participate with a “virtual” appointment only.
  • Social distancing policies will be enforced in all waiting, office, and instrument viewing areas.
  • Surfaces will be disinfected multiple times per day.
