The sale is made possible by a partnership between Lone Star College’s Department of Fine Arts and the foundation. “Families across northwest Houston will find everything from a first piano for a beginner to a concert grand in one room, and every purchase helps resource the fine arts programs at Lone Star College,” said Tobin Rockley, Director/President of the Rockley Family Foundation. “It is a rare chance to buy a fine instrument at a real discount while supporting music education in your own community.”

About the Rockley Family Foundation
The Rockley Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides the donated use of musical instruments, the outright donation of musical instruments and educational materials, and monetary resources that fund outreach support and scholarships. Since 2009, more than $30 million in donations have been made through the foundation to deserving nonprofit and educational organizations. Each year the foundation conducts dozens of fundraising events in partnership with musical nonprofit and educational organizations, selling gently used musical instruments to local communities; each event is mutually beneficial to the hosting organization and ultimately supports music education programs across the country.
