Nonprofit partners with Regis College’s Fine Arts Center to offer Steinway, Yamaha, C. Bechstein and other instruments at significant discounts — proceeds fund music programming and scholarships
WESTON, Mass. — August 18, 2026 — The Rockley Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports music education, will hold the Regis College Musical Instrument Sale Thursday through Saturday, August 20–22, 2026, in the Fine Arts Center on the Regis College campus, 235 Wellesley Street. Presented in partnership with Regis College’s Fine Arts Center, the sale offers pianos and string instruments to the public at a significant discount, with proceeds helping fund music programming, resources and scholarships.
A large selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas and cellos will be available, from starter to professional level and from makers including Steinway & Sons, Yamaha, Seiler, C. Bechstein, Roland and Italia Violins. Most instruments are less than one year old, include a 5- to 10-year service contract, and are tuned and ready to enjoy. Delivery and special no-interest financing are available on site, and in most cases a substantial portion of the purchase may be considered a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be tax-deductible.

The sale is by appointment Thursday, August 20 through Saturday, August 22; appointments give buyers priority in selection and pricing, and virtual appointments via Zoom are available. The public is also welcome on the final sale day, Saturday, August 22, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. — no appointment needed. Since 2009, more than $30 million in donations have been made through the Rockley Family Foundation to nonprofit and educational organizations. The foundation conducts dozens of fundraising instrument sales each year with music departments and nonprofits nationwide; each event is designed to benefit the host organization and, ultimately, music education programs in the local community.
