Messiah University 2024 Piano and Digital Piano Sale

The Department of Music at Messiah University has had the use of new first-class pianos on a no cost basis for the 2023-2024 academic year. This ongoing arrangement is provided through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting music education. These instruments and instruments made otherwise available, will be sold at a significant discount from new retail pricing to perpetuate this valuable program.

A selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos and digital pianos, will be available from such famous makers as Yamaha, Bösendorfer, Estonia, Cunningham, Clavinova, with a discrete selection of used Steinway & Sons and many others. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a non-prorated warranty, are tuned, and ready to play. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site. Moreover, in some cases, a portion of your purchase is considered as a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation and may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE.*

BY APPOINTMENT: You are invited to attend a special private-sale on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 24-26, along with our faculty and staff. This will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reductions. This event will be appointment only this year. To secure a private appointment time call: (717) 756-4352

This event will be held on campus in the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts. One University Avenue, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. For directions and safety protocol details (including “virtual appointment” options) please call or visit: www.RockleyFamilyFoundation.org/Messiah

In a time where creative solutions are needed to maintain a properly equipped music program, the continuation of this loan program is vital to us in our efforts to further education in the arts. We invite you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

* If a portion of the purchase price is considered a charitable contribution to the Rockley Family Foundation, used to support the Messiah University Department of Music, the deductible portion would be limited to the excess of the amount paid over the fair market value at retail of the goods purchased. You should consult with your own tax advisor as to individual deductibility.
